Cherokee Communications

"He named the freakin’ phone company after her."

For more than a decade, we’ve served as agency of record for Cherokee Communications, a regional telecom provider rooted in southeastern Oklahoma. What began as a rebrand became a long-term partnership built on consistency and trust.

We led a full brand transformation, developing the tagline “Long Live Local” and shaping a clear voice and visual identity that still defines the company today. That platform has guided everything from broadcast and digital campaigns to video, radio, web, sponsorships, and ongoing communications.

This isn’t a one-off project. It’s brand stewardship over time.

Branding

Cherokee isn’t a generic telecom company, and their brand shouldn’t feel like one. We helped shape a visual and verbal identity that reflects who they are: local, capable, and forward-thinking. From campaign concepts to alt-merch like Long Live Local, we’ve built a brand system that flexes without losing its roots.

TV & Radio

From broadcast spots to streaming placements, we produce work that feels human and grounded. Real customers. Real stories. No stock-script energy. Radio reinforces the message week after week, while video gives it weight. Together, they’ve helped Cherokee stay top of mind in a competitive market.

Web

The website is where everything connects. We designed and built Cherokee’s site to be clear, fast, and easy to manage. Service pages, support tools, and now a dedicated status page all work together to support customers and reduce friction. It looks good, but more importantly, it works.

So Much More

Billboards, print ads, sponsorship graphics, merch, social content, photography, internal materials, even custom hold music. Over the years, we’ve worked across nearly every part of the brand. Some projects are full campaigns. Others are quick-turn pieces. All of them support the same idea: local service, done well.
